I have this idea of wanting to get more grey water in to the black water tank. While shaving this morning, I was thinking that if just the bathroom sink was plumbed to the black tank, it would put some more water in that tank. Has any body done this? How would you go about it? I'm guessing the black tank would have to come down?
What does the seal look like entering the tank? The rest I could do under the sink with some valves and a "Y"

A lot of RVs already have this feature, so this isn't something new. The trap under the bathroom sink will keep the fumes from the Black tank from entering the RV (hopefully ). You may be able to tie into the drain from the toilet, depending on your unit, and how it's designed.
I believe they make a "saddle" type connection, which you would glue or attach with clamps, which would then be piped up to the sink drain line. Don't forget to plug the current line that goes to the gray tank.
All that being said, I don't know if it's really worth the time and effort? But, that's your call...

Yours may already be plumbed to the black tank. A lot of them are.

Just put a small container in the bathroom sink to use as a wash basin and catch the water. Then you can pour it down the toilet or into the shower or toss it outside.
Our bathroom sink is already plumbed to the black tank...want to know for sure if yours is?? the next time you dump the tanks, close both valves and then run the bathroom sink for awhile. then dump your tanks ... You'll see which tank the bathroom sink water went to.

I usually use a plastic basin to wash the dishes in, then dump it down the toilet. And then right before I'm getting ready to dump the tanks, I pour a few buckets of water down the toilet too.

The toilet drains directly into the tank. No room for plumbing anything else into where the toilet drains.
If I was going to do it I would plumb it into the black tank vent pipe. Much easier to get at, don't have to drop the tank and fiddle around with adding a drain fitting to the tank.
Put a "Y" in the vent tube and run your sink drain to it. Easy job if you can access the vent pipe.
That will only work if the black vent is nearby to the sink.

Over the past 40 years we have owned several TT's and a 5th wheel trailer.
I have never had one that grey water went into the black water tank.
I can not imagine why anyone would want that as the grey tank fills quicker than black.
There is always the possibility of grey and black backing up into the shower.
Many of us use tote tanks to empty grey water, few use them for black water.
In my opinion it is a foolish idea and one which increases the possibility of really unsanitary conditions in the RV.

You answered your own question. That's exactly why people want the bathroom sink plumbed into the black tank. The gray tank fills up faster than the black tank so that gives them more room for more gray tank water.

My first TT had the bathroom sink plumbed into the black tank.
In my mind that was really dumb as when the black tank fills up, I have to tow the TT to a dump station to empty it.
I replumbed it the right way.. Grey water should go into the grey tank...Hence it's name. All my TTs since then have been plumbed right..In fact I have been looked at strange when I inquire about a units plumbing when shopping. Most have never heard of a Bathroom sink being plumbed to the black tank.

I found out the hard way. I didn't know that my trailer was set up that way and one cold winter night I let the bathroom sink faucet run a little to keep things from freezing and over flowed my black tank trailers I purchased since then I check out where the bath sink emptys
