Thanks for your report and pics! We feel like we've been there. Looks a little snug in the canyon walk tho!

Nice looking trip report...from 2011? It looks like the Holes-in-the-wall Gang was there recently, or maybe those are old mailboxes. These are places I'll never see except through your trip report, thanks a lot for posting. And yes Deer, that ain't no bull.

So does this mean we have to wait till 2013 to see your trips from 2012? That's not fair...

PatrickA51 – That’s the nice thing about digital cameras. One can take lots of photos so you’ve got a good chance of at least a few turning out nice.

sleepy – The squares don’t appear to be very deep but maybe they were enough to give a finger and toe hold. I believe you said something once about heading to New Mexico before health issues intervened. Maybe this report will tide you over until you get out there yourselves.

spacedoutbob – You’re welcome and glad you stopped by!

Bigfoot85 – The slot canyon was unexpected and really neat. It was interesting getting through with traffic trying to go both ways.

Whazoo – Yep, 2011. Hey, I may be slow but I do eventually get a trip report out there. Holes-in-the-wall Gang … I like that. I’d have guessed maybe the Swiss Cheese tribe.

If you want to see slow, come watch me get out of the easy chair. Or go to work in the morning, or...

By the way, I hope your DB is still kicking and doing well.

Your trip reports, not frequent, but a treat worth waiting for. I find myself saying, to anyone who wants to listen; “I want to go too!! I want to go too!! I want to go to these places.” Your whimsical narration only makes your wonderful and detailed photographs more detailed. I enjoy your fashion of a chronological order. I just wonder where the line is forming for your guided tours. Please let me know. Please?

whazoo - Mother time is working a little on me too. BTW, some of your desert heat has escaped AZ and settled into the southeast. Would you please take it back? The DB is in the same boat I am with too much work to get out camping much. The up side is that we'll both have a good bit of leave that our bosses will have to let us use before the end of the year.

bka0721 - That's what I tell myself every time I see a trip report on here ... "I want to go there!" I've got a spreadsheet where I make a note of places that look particularly appealing including scenic locations, interesting sites, and yummy looking places to eat. I wasn't able to get shots of many small details as my camera has decided not to focus well in macro mode. Between that and the flash not working I guess it's time to either send it in for repairs or go camera shopping.
