Our 06 is a 3 valve V10 362HP and 457lbs/ft torque with 5.38 gearing and 235/80R X 22.5 tires. Pulls the hills fine, not going to win races with cars but have passed a few DP's and loaded trucks on the Grapevine depending on speed before starting up, see no reason to floor it and run the rpms up for a few mph and then slow it all back down to get down the other side. I have been pleasantly surprised when slowed down while climbing the hill out of Indio CA. towards AZ to be able to step down a little have it drop a gear and accelerate back up to 55-60 and then upshift and hold the speed the rest of the way.
