I don't have my fridge manual with me and I'm sitting in a state park in Arkansas. It's a DM 2652.
My temp sensor that adjusts the temp fell off and I'm not sure I replaced it correctly. Can someone post a photo of how it installs. The sensor bulb doesn't contact the alum fin and I don't know if it's supposed to.

Hi,
Mine is on the far right fin towards the top. The bulb doesn't touch the fin.

Thanks guys. That's how I put it back in. It looks like it can only go in one way, but I wanted to make sure. Actually, the cable that the thermistor is on only allows it to go about half way up the fin. Is yours like that? This is day one of a week trip and I would hate to lose everything in the fridge.

You should be fine. I haven't personally metered it out, but I think there is only a 3-4 degree variation with placement.

I have this same fridge, and on the last trip it just wouldn't get cold enough. Freezer got to about where the fridge should have been, fridge wasn't even close to cold enough. The placement of the plastic slide and sensor was the same as always, we have a hardwired fan installed. The only difference is that the dealer removed the fridge to move the temp sensor that was constantly turning the external (optional) fan on and off all day and all night. It doesn't do that anymore, and it worked fine on first 3 trips out - but not now, on propane or electricity.
It would be simpler if it was all or nothing, working or not working, but this halfway thing is frustrating. Appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks.

As long as it is put back, the exact location is not critical anyway. The effect of moving it a short distance would be difficult to detect.

I was just concernd about the placement of the thermistor relative to the fin. I didn't know if it was supposed to touch it because it didn't look like there was a way to put it in the holder so that it would touch.
