Have 1999 coachman sportcoach 380dp. There is a pump in my water department next to my black water handle . Problem no one knows what it is. It is wired and looks like a vacum pump based on the line coming off it, any suggestion as to what it may be???

It could easily be a vacuum pump. A DP does not create any manifold vacuum like a gas engine so many used to use a vacuum pump to give a vacuum supply to the cruise control.

Should be a 12V vacuum generator to run the HVAC vents in the dash. Pull the line off of the vac pump and as said find out what doesn't work. I'll almost bet that the Dash AC will default to the defrost position. Been there done that except the pump is on the firewall above the genny slide.

What type of line is coming off of it?

Can you trace where the line goes?

Can you disconnect the line at the pump and energize it? With the line off and the pump running you should be able to tell if it is sucking or blowing.
