Just finished washing our Tioga with my handy-dandy telescoping water and soap dispensing brush. It leaks/sprays where the soap and water handle swivel-connect to the telescoping part. Aside from that the water from the brush runs back down the tube, into my armpits and then into my shoes. There's gotta be a better way, not involving climbing up and down a ladder. It looks a lot better though.

Get on the roof and try from above, the water and soap should go the other way?

Yust kidding, have found that none of the sray brushes and other so called washers and srayers work, they all leak, you do not know how many I have busted trying to tighten them.

I now use a painters extention handle and one of the brushes that came with the original unit, one hard bristle and one soft, and a bucket.

If not you can also have the shampoo handy and do two jobs at once??

Good luck with the majic wands

I just use an extendable brush and a bucket of soapy water.

When I use one of those all in one spray, soap, wash brushes I just get naked. It also counts as my daily shower and I am able to save water and don't fill the gray tank as fast.

Easiest thing is to be rich and pay somebody to keep the rig clean and polished including washing the roof.

I wet it with the hose only. Place soap in bucket of water and use telescoping device to dip in bucket and and scrub. Then, wash off with hose spray nozzle. The constant water flow thru the telescoping handle is the problem.

We use the brush without being connected to the water hose. Just a bucket full of warm water and a separate hose to pre and post rinse.

Why not just wear swim clothes and get a shower at the same time? That's called "being green?" or something like that. Really... When I wash our camper, I use one of those brushes too. I have one that attaches to a garden hose and one that does not. I use both. But either way, I end up as soapy as the camper. So I've just accepted the fact when I wash the camper to wear shorts or a swim suit.

Friends of mine have two teenage daughters that are light enough to stand on the hood when washing the overhang without making a dent, and think that $10/hour is real money. I supervise in a lawn chair with a cold beer. Check your friends and relatives.

Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.
