The recoil pull cord on my Champion 3500/4000 snapped. Are there any instructions on how to disassemble the recoil housing and rewind the cord?
Thanks, Fran

Champion engines are clones of Hondas so in many cases the instructions should be close enough to figure out how to reload.
So perhaps google Honda recoil and see if you can find a diagram.

most have three screws or bolts on the face of the recoil housing , if your not hand get a camper friend or neightbor to help, not a hard job but you don,t want the spring to come uncoiled.

Mine broke due to it wearing thin.
I picked up a piece of rope from my local small engine repair shop.
There are 3 10mm bolts that hold the recoil housing to the engine.
It is easy to replace the pull rope.

Tip...oil the new rope and it will last ten times as long. You can also "clock" the recoil to allow a more direct pull on the rope so you are not riding the rope bushing with every pull.To clock the recoil you will need to drill some new mounting screw holes.
