I will be coming from Colorado. Any suggestions as to the best routes, where to stay near Glacier (east or west), best place to cross the border and any recommendations on touring Banff and Jasper, RV Parks, etc. Will be coming directly back to Colorado after the trip. Have a 40' pusher and tow Jeep. Thanks, Pat

Stay on the East side at Johnson's Good Sam, St Mary's. Nice folks with tons of history. You can catch the red tour White Motor car there -a must. Be sure to eat at their Rest- bring your appetite. Also excellent pie shop across and down the street. We went horseback riding next door on the Blackfoot Reservation. Also can drive to hiking trail to St Mary's falls and other trails easily. Can go to many glacier, also on up to Canadian side. We also drove to west side around bottom and rafted the middle fork of Flathead River.
Cannot drive anything over 21' on going to the sun road but you will not have any problems on roads outside the park. We have 40'and toad also.
You can fill up @ remote diesel pumps in Browning at one station. It is either on or on the way to 464. The rest have terrible access for a big rig. Way cheaper then fuel in St Mary. Fill up your toad here too! I would take 89 up 464 you have to backtrack a little and depending on time of year there may be Tons of grasshoppers.
Glacier in my favorite NP -beautiful and not many people.
Used to live in Denver 940 years ago!) Have fun!
