I am dry camping, running the generator. My generator fuel reads empty and my fuel station reads full.

Dealer says generator will automatically borrow from the fuel station if it runs low. But I cannot find confirmation of this. Anyone?

Next, to be safe I used the pump to fill from the fuel station to the generator tank. From my understanding the generator tank is the forward gas cap and the fuel station is the rear gas cap. Confirmation anyone?

Lastly I have pumped for 30 minutes from fuel station to the forward has cap and neither meter has moved. Generator still says E and fuel station say F. This confuses me, anyone have a clue?

I tried pumping to the rear gas cap and it won't reach.

I am actually out camping so any help would be appreciated!

Gerald

My pump is about 2inches too short to reach so I had to use a transfer gas can. Does yours reach so you can use pump to fill the rear tank?

I guess I'm lucky. The fuel station hose is just long enough to fill the gen tank.

Mine is a 3600, not a 3200. Just checked, and the hose is just long enough too. I would suggest you buy a longer hose, so it will reach! That way, I have 60 gallons combined for generator, if needed!

On my 3200 the front is Fuel Station and rear is Generator. No built in cross-over. Hose from Fuel station reaches with a couple of feet to spare. The tanks are next to each other.
