Well with that video of her saying the truck is not suited for towing looks like she will be looking for a new job and Ford will be getting a call from an Attorney.

You would think they would learn, that and the major losses they are showing overseas Ford had better get it together and quick.

I didn't hear that at all. She said there were better choices for engine and differential gearing for towing - which of course there are. She also said there is a TSB coming out to address the codes he's seeing.
I never heard her say this vehicle wasn't designed for towing but there is so interruption by some computer voice junk that it's hard to tell.

Yeah, she said he has the 3.15 rear end, which is geared for economy, and that the 3.55 or 3.73 would give a higher tow rating. None of his issues seem to be towing related, he was towing a lawn mower fer cripes sake. Move along, nothing to see here.

I agree sounds like a lemon. Couple of guys are dealing with that on the LML's. The take home is the piss poor customer service guys are getting across all the brands.

In the era of the internet and oodles of customer feedback you would think relations would improve not decline.

This linked showed different engines with carbon build up issues and talked about plugs needing to be changed at 36K miles vs the normal 100K. Not real sure how all this info applies to the subject line?

I do think the jury is still out on the high HP small displacement engine that grinds under max load mile after mile. Will it last like it was a V-8 or V-10 at 200,000 miles in real world use just is not field tested by a large number of actual owners. Any idea of the cost to rebuilt the top end of a boosted engine like this?
