Depending on how close you want/need to be to downtown Seattle...

We liked the Swinomish Casino @ 25/night FHU, 50amp, on the water just north of Seattle.

In Seattle itself you're limited really to two campgrounds....Lake Pleasant as already mentioned and Gig Harbor. Kopachuck State Park is still closed to camping, I believe.

If you're wandering around that area, be sure to spend some time at the Salt Creek Rec Area in Port Angeles. It's a County Park...Very beautiful area....Dennis

In my IE9 the RV park link does not show up on the website's home page. It's on the Site map. It does show up in FireFox 13. Here's the link:

There is also Angel of the Winds Casino one exit south of the Stanwood exit (next exit north of the Arlington exit). It's $20 with 50-A (and others) and has excellent fish-n-chips at a bargain price.

We live about 1-1/2 miles from the Swinomish Casino, which is an OK casino RV park, but it is ~1-1/2 hours to downtown Seattle (in good traffic).

We have stayed here - pretty nice place. Last year, if you stayed 4 days, they would comp you a round of golf for 4 at Avalon Golf Club.

A number of years ago, we stayed at a nice RV Park SE of Seattle. It had an indoor pool and horses if I remember right

Tolt MacDonald is decent, and the spots are pull throughs.

If you are heading to the peninsula from Seattle I wouldn't recommend the ferries, unless you just like the novelty of it. A 43 footer towing a car will cost a fortune. By the time you wait in line and take the trip, it takes almost as long as driving around. The Narrows bridge in Tacoma is now tolled going eastbound but much cheaper than a ferry. There are lots of nice campgrounds once you get about 50 miles away from Seattle, but not many closer than that.

We stayed at Vasa Park on West Lake Sammamish Pkwy in Bellevue...a dozen or so lots in what appears to be a county park but full hook-ups and an easy drive into Seattle. We were very satisfied, we were right on the lake.

We stayed at the Good Sam Issaquah Village RV Park in June. Nice park and close to Seattle.
