Rplaced my house battery in my 05 cardinal 5th wheel a year ago but didnt use it till this memorial weekend,i wintered in it but was plugged in so didnt need battery.1st nite my pump kept cycling and ran the battery dead.when running generator the inverter charger would not charge it. I connected a stand alone 12v 12 amp charger and it charged for a few minutes and then kicked out.I realized the inverter charger was doing the same and had to reset breaker to restart several times.I returned the battery under warranty and the store said he didnt think there was any thing wrong with it after he charged and tested it.i must add that returning home from the campground the truck was charging the battery and was near charged when i got there.I put the new battery in and let it run down.when trying to recharge the house inverter charger kicked out again and so did the stand alone charger.????dont know why this is happening any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

When you try and charge using your stand alone charger did you remove the cables from the battery? Might give that a try if you did not. It sounds like there may be a problem with your converter and if it is still hooked up it may be causing an issue with your stand alone charger.

Sounds like an internal short in the battery. Have them do a load test on the battery.
