Hi all,

Hope your summer is going well.

I have just come back from Tobermory (Brit now living in Canada) with my Fleetwood Bayside Elite (2001) pup and a few things have perished and I am lost as to where to find replacements.

Any insight, help, laughing at someone else's misfortune would be great!!

I am looking for (1) the outdoor stove (the wood (chipboard) has perished. (2) zip that holds in the awning has gone (plastic teeth will not close) so am looking for a replacement awning cover (3) the black tips for 2 shepherd hooks

I don't mind going into the US to get these sent.

Thanks so much in advance.

My stove frame disintegrated too. I used 1x4 lumber to build a new frame, reusing all the original hardware.

The awning bag zipper can be replaced by a local upholstery shop.

I'm not sure about the shepard pole ends.

1) The outdoor stoves and grills seem to be lothed on this forum (for the record, I like my grill but it's a pain to clean). If I were in your situation, I'd either find somebody here who hates theirs and buy it from them (remember they are low-pressure stoves), OR I would use a high-pressure propane stove. It's easy to run the rubber hose from a bulk tank to the stove for extended run time.

2) Contact a local awning, sail, or upholstry shop for repairing the zipper first.

3) See Tent Support Clasp for the black "C" clips.

Hope this helps!

Welcome to PUP ownership, especially with one whose manufacturer is no longer in business.

Good answers above. JLTN_James found a better price on the bunk-end clips than I had previously found as a future replacement source, so I'll be ordering from them.

From my research of parts suppliers, I have found:
Midland RV
Beckleys RVS (but I think you'll need to deal directly with them via email/phone for Fleetwood-specific parts

A good source of the owners and parts manuals as well as parts is at Ketelsen Campers

Carson City RV advertises they have Fleetwood/Coleman parts.

And Daley Camper Sales advertises repair service and parts.

I have not tried any of the above. I was just building my library of future parts sources.

Most all of anything I've gotten has been from AdventureRV for just about any of the standard things that need repairs and replacing.

For the awning bag, a local upholstery, boating/sail or canvas shop can replace the zipper. I'm facing that shortly and already got a quote of $150 USD. Grrr.

I made a custom surface for the outdoor grill using laminate countertop. It's made from the same substrate chipboard, so I sealed all exposed edges with outdoor UV-resistant polyurethane. Hopefully it will last several seasons.

You're going to have to get resourceful these days. I've done a few upgrades, mods and replacements already and this is only my first summer with this PUP. But I really love the highwall version over the standard ones, so it is still worth to me versus the previous PUP even though it didn't need much upkeep and repair (probably because I owned it since it was practically new - and pampered it).

Good luck. Let us know how it progresses, and if you find anything in your searching.

I believe the Shepard Pole Tips on yours are not the "C" type, but are more like a Plastic Dowel......in any case, should not be all that hard to find at any of the links provided. The method I used to replace my tips was to put the new Plastic Tips in hot water for a few minutes to soften them up, then push/press them into the end of the poles

have you tried Ruston RV in Burlington - they used to be a Coleman dealer. Also try Holiday World, McPhails of Hairiston - all used to be Coleman dealers and maY have leftover parts

I purchased one of the bunk pole end pegs from McPhails in Harriston, Ont. about a year ago. They had inventory at that time. Good luck.

I've done business with Ketelsen Campers here in Denver Co., years gone by. They actually had replacement canvas in stock for my old 1976 Coleman when I needed it. Good outfit.
