rj - you TC killer you!

We always saw one like that that was less than a half mile off the highway in south park. It was parked below a bit of a windbreak and we saw it for years and years.......the last 10 years or so. We always used to joke about sneaking into the ranch land and camping next to it to make it feel less lonely. But over the years it gradually (at first) and then faster as time went by, started losing the siding, then the siding was gone (South Park gets really high winds.) The whole TC disappeared one day...sometime in the last year. We also always wondered the stories it might tell if you could listen; we usually still wave at the spot when we go by. Sounds weird I know, but there you go.

(We watched the same process happen with an old barn beside the highway....it kept leaning more and more away from the wind, until one trip it was a pile of barnwood. Did I say South Park is windy?

I have the same thought when I see an old abandoned house. One day someone was carrying a couch through the front door, excited about their new home and often proud of the house that they built. Now raccoons live in the kitchen and you can see through the roof.
