Doesn't make much difference to me. It all depends on how we like the CG itself.

I'll get back to you on that.

Don't bother

Amazing view.

The Jeep reminds me of our 2000 Cherokee Limited which just got totaled in a crash. I loved that vehicle.

Give me a muddy Forest Service Road and a Forest Service gravel place to park anytime, fewer people and larger camp spots, birds and animals instead of people crossing where I am camped. Do not feel it is camping if I am on asphalt or concrete. You asked for opinions ------- .

Concrete attracts the type of "campers" I prefer not to be around. Give me a rustic, secluded site that is reasonably level and I am very happy.

Your basic no-brainer.

Daveshan - in contemplating an answer - the gravel road came to mind first because we prefer boondocking or secluded FS CG - seeing this - I have to second your thought and opinion! We camped Memorial Day weekend at a state park. DH and I went exploring and found a super nice FS CG that is secluded with what else - gravel sites - we both would've preferred the FS site over the paved. Next time.

So Daveshan - inquiring minds want to know - where was your boondocking photo taken?
