My 2008 Warrior CR3905 is blowing the 20amp fuse for the fuel station everytime I use it. I have gone through 3 fuses and decided it was time to look for a short somewhere. Anyone know a common spot to start? I have heard of this problem before but can't find anything when I search. Thanks in advance

look for a loose connection where the wires start and stop.

motor?

unplug the motor - see if the fuse blows when the switch is on. Probably won't.

Has it been awhile since you used it? I know on my rig I have to losen the cap bolts on the pump to help get the impeller to turn.

Very common is the pump gears swell and cause high amperage in the circuit causing fuse to blow. If gears swell enough, the pump won't work at all and blows fuse immediately.
There is a retrofit kit out that replaces the defective pump gears that swell with good ones that don't.Think the new gear kit is $20-30 iirr.

There was a recall back in the day for this problem. Have read on forum, some have sanded down the gears with some degree of success, not sure if that works.

if it is a gear swell issue, you can sand the gears with great results!

X4 on the gears swelling. Happened to me too. Replaced them, and no issues now.

My pump was locked up, pulled the gears out and sanded them on one side. removed .010 from each gear and no more problems.

Thank you for the information. Where can I buy new gears for the pump?
