We are making a swing through the west and southwest mid August to late September. Looking for recommendations for rv parks in Sedona the end of August and Santa Fe over Labor Day weekend. Each stay will be 3-4 nights so looking for facility with full hookups (towing a 34 ft Avion TT). All input will be appreciated.
Thanks

We liked Rancho Sedona and Santa Fe Skies. We enjoyed our stay at each one while we spent most of our time sight seeing and they were pet friendly. I know I saw some on here didn't like Rancho Sedona but we had no problem and would stay there again. We were at both of these twice.

Rancho Sedona is the only RV park actually in Sedona. Many people also like Distant Drums in Camp Verde and Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood, both about 15 miles from Sedona.

Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood is the one we always use. It's an easy drive to Sedona with a lot less daily traffic problems for shopping/restaurants.

Deadhorse campground is rustic and out in the country, nice campground but I don't think they have FHU. We stayed at Distant Drums is Campe Verde. Right off the freeway and across the road from the casino.

Great RV Resort and nice people running it. Pet friendly.

In Santa Fe, I like Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground and Santa Fe Skies. Both are off of I-25 and convenient to Santa Fe Plaza area. Santa Fe Plaza is an area toursist frequent (shopping/restaurants/downtown). This tourist area also has an RV city parking area in case you are driving in/ out or just driving thru.

We stayed at the Trailer Ranch RV Resort in Santa Fe last September. The RV park was family owned, exceptionally clean and well managed. The bus stops in front of the park that you can take to the downtown plaza and other points of interest or shopping around Santa Fe. The only downside to the park is that it is located on Cerrillos Road which is a major thoroughfare so the traffic can be a nuisance. They were working on the road while we were there but I;m sure the construction is finished by now.
