Seems like you can not reply to a CRAIGSLIST annoyumous Email address if you have windows 7. You can not set a default mail service with Windows 7. So if you are selling your RV on Craigslist, you will not get a response unless you give your phone number.

Just highlight, copy and paste the anonymous craigslist email into which ever email service you use.
Problem fixed

I seriously doubt this is the case. I do not have Windows 7 but I am sure there is a workaround solution to this.

I run windows 7 and get email replies for craigslist ads all the time. I get my mail through my yahoo account via web browser.
Are you sure you are not having issues with a specific email service or client?

Thank you! I will do that. Alot of people do not know that and can not respond to an Ad. You then loose a sale! I have been advertsing for 3 months , wondering why I recived very few responses.

I have Windows 7 and I respond to Craigslist emails all the time just fine. I do use Firefox, but I doubt IE would be any different.

i have win7
X2 with gmail, both web on laptop and gmail acct on my phone & pad
no problem replying to craigslist ad via their email link
or replying to email received from Craigslist

I have windows 7 and use Internet explorer. I've had no problems with it. I just tried it. It went straight to outlook and opened up an email.
Perhaps you are receiving few responses because not many people are interested and/or the price is set too high?
I don't think it has anything to do with the functionality of Craigslist though.
