We purchased our first tc a year ago today,i was a complete newbie and didnt realize that this site existed before our purchase on craigslist, lol.I have learned alot from this site, feel almost like i know what i am talking about now, lol, like, avoid buying a tc with a cabover window, etc, but i did,oh well, more pro-flex,and i should have checked the screws under the lances wings...easy fix...i hope, thank you all for all the tips!!
loading the yet to be mine tc with the dually mirrors not flipped out in camper mode, not good..
got that sorted out
then noticed the tank issue with the aftermarket bumper
still not sure about the tank issue,i just use some blocking to keep the tc back a bit from the front of the box, keeps the tank clear,is that a holding tank or a cover?guess i am still learning a year later..the cabover is already high above the roof of my older chevy so i really dont want to use a bed mat etc,,
That's an insulated cover over one of your holding tanks. I have the exact same tank, though the factory Chevy bumper and had the same problem with my truck. I just blocked it a little farther back. Looks like you only need 1/2" or so? That's all I needed. Simple fix.
