I have a multi-page list of the `stuff' we carry and would send it to you if you send me your direct email address. It is MS Access format. If you can't handle that I can convert it to MS Word. Or I can mail you a copy if you send me your snail mail address.
Some of it, obviously, won't be necessary. We carry a lot of bicycle stuff because that's our primary recreation.

Windex! That's my favorite cleaner and it also is good for taking the sting out of bug bites. Needs to be the ammonia based formula.
I agree with Dutch-first time out made the bed with old sheets and brought the old towels. It wasn't fun. So then the camper got decked out with new stuff and some homey quilts and it's very cozy.
Planning meals helps. When i think about what things i need to make certain meals, that helps with which kitchen things to bring. And if it's too complicated, the menu will change! My most used items for cooking are the cast iron skillet and a single burner griddle (Lodge makes it and it's on Amazon). I mostly camp without hookups and cooking is outside, my tribute to tent camping days!
Also agree with visiting WalMart and Dollar Stores. Too many trips to count!
have fun and be flexible!

Here is a website with all kinds of checklists for RVs and this one is a general "camping checklist' you can print out and it might give you some ideas of what you will need (or what you can do without). It also has a "departure checklist" which is handy.

It's a moving target. You've heard the "hokey pokey" song? Well, that's about what happens. You put the fry pan in, you take the fry pan out, you put the fry pan in and you move it all about...

Dollar Store!
remember space and weight. Buy plastic instead of glass (breaks) and metal. If you won't ever have more than 4 people camping, don't put a set of 8. One small skillet, one large, one small pot, one large. Basic utensils. Remember you are probably not going to be gourmet cooking! We grill out a lot and use the microwave. If you have more than 4 people you can buy paper plates and cups. I would start with each area of the RV and start a list. You will keep adding to the list. Once you make a trip or two, remember to go thru everything and remove anything you didn't need. We have one set of linens for each bed and wash them and put them back on. We only have enough towels and wash cloths for the number of people and buy the cheap thin ones since they dry quicker.

Without the OP responding to the question in the first reply by Beemerphile, how do we know what exactly the OP means by "stocking" the inside of the trailer? Also how do y'all stock the outside of the trailer?
