Has anyone actually worked at this park and can tell me about their experience. I know all about the park reviews but that does not tell me about working there. It is located in Asheville North Carolina. We have considered working there but it seems they are advertising on wk news quiet often. Any actual experience would be greatly appreciated.
The resort is actually in Fletcher which is between Asheville and Hendersonville. All the stuff I can find says this is a nice place to camp but I checked some other workamping sites and no good or bad exists. When I see a place advertise a lot in one season two things come to mind....1. They are going through a lot of people or 2. (which I hope would be the case) They are a lot busier than they thought they would be and need extra help. I would tell you to ask a lot of questions concerning the expected duties. Minor plumbing to you may be a whole different thing that what they consider minor. The area it's self is great. Hendersonville..Apple festival in the fall, Blueridge parkway, Biltmore, Maggie Valley, Cherokee are all close by for day trips.

Again, can't tell you what it is like to work there. But, we stayed there for 2 weeks in March. The only place I've ever seen a White Squirrel (not an albino). They have some modular trailers for sale with annual rate for sites. I talked with the owner for some time but not about the duties for work campers. The day we checked in a couple was starting as work campers. They were working in the office only and seemed nice enough. There was a lady in the back with a sign in her window saying get a free site, ask me how. The place isn't all that big, except when you add the owners parcel and that's a lot of grass to mow.
The area was exceptional as others have said. If your interested in the area further investigation is certainly warranted. Hope this helps a bit.
Stayed there, not work camping, for an extended time a few years ago after the new owner bought it. A few of the ways I saw the work campers treated, I can see why they have openings.
