Not all Onan's have 'oil pressure sensors', since some of the small ones are splash lube, and have no significant oil pressure. Until the OP comes back and tells us what specific generator he has, we're just shooting in the dark.

Jim, Hello, Incontinence Hotline. Can you old, please?"

The oil was a little low. A top up and it worked fine. Thanks.

Micro quiet 2800 & 4000 have splash oiling and have a sensor that will shut it down if it gets low or if it's run way too long between changes and gets thin. I had a ww with a 2800 and the gen kept cutting out when I got it home and I pulled the drain plug and the oil was as thin as gas. Put fresh oil in it & it never did it again. I guess the guy I bought it from wasn't much on maint.

You have to stop driving on NASCAR tracks. All those left turns are doing it. Now make a pit stop and get some rest. LOL
