I think you;ll find the large A's easier to set up, unhook toad while signing into campground unless you know you have a pullthru site. Pull in hit the level button, go out and unwind the elect & water, hook up sewar, have wife open slides, you pull out lawn chairs and have DW bring out a cool one and enjoy
Either one will work and some of the new 5'ers are much, but for ease and quickness, I think the "A" is stilla little quicker

I/We do the same thing with our set up.
Us too...with one small difference in sequence.
The DW brings out refreshment right after she opens slides. By that time I've got the chairs out underneath the awning and just waiting.
Probably takes as much time to set up the RV as it does to get the coolers and grill setup outside.
Just sayin...does not take that much time to setup with our rig but whatever works for you.

No at our site.
And if your 4 wheels down a small difference, and if not 4 wheels down no real difference. Never owned an class A ,will defer to your knowledge.

Check in a truck stop. You can get a 12V coffee pot that mounts on a bracket.
Otherwise the nice stainless steel thermos cups do a pretty good job.

We are retired and don't travel many hours a day. And of course a thermos would take care of the coffee situation. The coffee statment was more about me showing my understanding of galley access when moving in a class A.

The two biggest advantages that I see with a Class A is you can pull into a pull through site in the rain, and level, deploy slides and use your coach until the rain stops, the other being that your coach will be at the right temp inside when you stop, either by running the heat or the ac which ever it needs.
Enjoy what you got cause neither is perfect, either one works and it really just is your personal preference and I bet you have just as good of a time with either one.

Remember the thread started with me asking about conventional wisdom about MH vs 5'ver concerning traveling allot vs sitting longer and if the lines are now blurred.

Well for traveling a lot my choice would be a class A would be my choice for there comfort on the road and ease of stopping for lunch etc with controlled interier temps, if sitting longer I would still prefer the A cause we could use our jeep as a run around vehicle vs a large truck, which can be a pain to park quit often,
I have owned and driven full sized p/u for over 30 years and they can be a pain at times.
