just got home from a great weekend, parked the 5er in the driveway went to lower the landing gear to unhook and _____ thats right nothing. there is power as I can raise but not lower, I had this problem once before and had to replace the battery, now the battery is new fully charged but can't lower the landing gear. Any suggestions. we are supposed to head for Letchworth park on thursday and I'm not sure I can handle lifting this by hand crank
thanks in advance
Obviously you have power going to switch and thru 'retract' (raise) side of switch.
Swap wires on back (reverse them).....if bad switch legs should 'extend' but not 'retract'
If meters are not your friend etc. just get a simple DC circuit tester......plastic handle with light inside, wire with clip on one end, sharp point on other end.
Clip wire to good ground and stick point on terminals......DC voltage present..light turns on. $3 at auto parts.

yes it was the switch, I got my brother to come over and use the multi meter. The one wire had been wet and corroaded. Changed the wires and made it to the park for a great week camping. A big thankyou to those that responded and helped me out
