Anyone with Kelderman suspensions having air bag failures? Or air bag related problems?

You find me a air baq that does not eventually develop a leak and we can put all the other companies out of business and make a fortune! They may guarantee their bags, but they will fail sooner or later.

I have the Kelderman system and have not heard of any airbag failures but I too feel the potential is there for that to happen. I asked Kelderman about that when I had my system installed 2 years ago and they told me replacement air bags are readily available if necessary. I think they are just regular Firestone airbags. The big improvement from the Kelderman system is the detuned front suspension where the airbags support more of the weight than the conventional suspension does.

Did you do front/rear?

We did Kelderman front and rear on 2012 Sunstar 30T and we believe it is worth every penny.

I did both front and rear. I definitely consider it a worthwhile expense for me. Obviously not everybody agrees with spending $5K+ on ride improvement but I would do it again in a heartbeat.

If I had the 5K to spend & after looking at the Kelderman system set up, how it is built & designed to work, I wouldnt even have to think about it, that 5K would be gone, quick.
When you take most any m/h, that the body portion of the coach frame work is welded direct to the chassis, every little highway bump, jar or wiggle will be felt through the body system.
So, any thing that will isolate the ruffness of our highly neglected highways across the USA, from getting into the chassis & frame work of the coach, will promote a far better ride for those riding inside of it.

In my previous motorhome I diddled around with Koni shocks and mor/ryde. On BT Cruiser I messed with shocks and added airbags in rear (standard spring assist). I should have just done the Kelderman as it is the answer and cheaper than all the other fixes because it works the best. I love driving it now.

Too bad Kelderman can't get their cost down. What they would lose per sale would probably be made up for in volume.

I think it is too bad a system like Kelderman is not available as an option on new gas motorhomes. The install would be easier if done in construction.
