I don't think you are supposed to have full air in it unloaded.

So are you supposed to deflate it every time you detach, and inflate it every time you hookup?

It looks about the same when loaded, just worse.

I called the TrailAir folks a few years ago about air up or down when unhooked and they said it didn't make any difference. If it was me I'd let a little air out and see if it looks better.

How heavy is your pin weight, 5,000#? I have the TriGlide so bag is up front. My pinweight is 3,350# and not nearly as much air. Do you have the arrows on the front of the pin on the shock indicating proper height for bag inflation?

I've tried to explain that to Lippert, but they say it's fine.
Big surprise

And yes, even at max air capacity, the air shock still rides below the base of the arrows. (BTW, my pin weight is about the same as yours)

I never let the air out of mine between tows...
one less thing to do since you have to air it up based on the weight of YOUR rv... and trail air said no big deal either way...

I had called them about the alignment of my bags and could not get enough air in to get to top of arrows...
fyi - I have seen others where the bags were straighter...

considering letting all the air out to see if I can manually line it up...

Trail air did send me a new shock absorber that allowed the arrows to be aligned..
it hadn't before even after I tried the max psi they suggested of 100 psi.

BUT, even though it doesn't look right, it sure works well !!!
I can see the 5er bobbing and weaving and chucking and the truck just doesn't feel it !!!

It certainly is not like they show in their ads:
http://www.trailair.com/index.php?option........iew=article&id=153:tow-triglide&catid=34

Look at their PDF brochure and see what it looks like. I would not use it like you have it shown without them telling me it is sitting as it should.
