I have a 1997 coachman with a chevy workhorse chassis. The park assist feature is set and will not release. Any suggestions to get it to release so I can get it in to get serviced
You need to get in contact with oldusedbear, he is the expert on the auto park brake system. It may only be the "rotten green switch" that maybe your problem.

you can email me at gonncrazy.tlm@gmail.com or post on here

I just did a search for oldusedbear and found this for you.
A request to any forum members needing AutoPark help. Please contact me directly at oldusedbear11@charter.net - - and include the year model of your coach. We have so many requests that I no longer have time to scan the forums or check all the Private Message systems. Thanks much Roger - - aka oldusedbear at the AutoPark Library

There's a clevis under there you got to romove the pin from. OF course the coach will roll away when you do that, IF you can get the pin out. We did a 98 last week, pin was out, drum was cooked and shoes were worn out. Got it working for the guy, had the yellow air brake kind of switch just to the left of the steering column.
