Our Sirius little magnetic antenna has sat up on the dash of our motorhome for 6 years. I put a little piece of the stuff you put in cabinets so the dishes stay in place under it never have had a problem.

In my '99 Roadtrek, I just put it in the cabinet over the windshield. Never had the signal drop.

Thank you very much. Your clarified what it means to see the satellite. I'll locate our antenna someplace up front under the fiberglass cap.

My 1997 Safari has a fiberglass roof and I do NOT like to drill it for any reason. Also replaced the old radio and added as Sirius tuner. I tried the Puck Antenna on the dash bvut that was poor at best and a lot of reception cut outs. Somebody suggested I try the puck up on top of the front cap cabinets between them and the actual roof. Works Great.
