What if people pulled out their brake light bulbs? I'm sure a thief wouldn't take the time to check to see the bulbs are working and it may get them pulled over if your lucky.

Interesting safeguards. I could apply them all. I felt the masterlock was effective enough considering where she was stored but now I see how well that worked.
I was thinking of taking the tires off one side and put the axles on jacks on the next one. I little bit of effort but it would stay put.
I actually thought of taking all 4 tires off to protect them from the Texas sun but didn't.
Yep, it's all coulda, woulda, shoulda now

2011 Outback Model 277RL 10th Anniversary Edition, LP# 5UN080.
Stolen from Brazoria county outside of Alvin, Texas today at 11:15 am.
Last seen being towed by a bright candy apple red either dodge 4 door or chevy blazer/jimmy. It was an older model truck but appeared to have been recently restored, limo tint all around, lifted with AT or off road tires.
Notice the markings on the tongue in the second pic.
It has 277RL next to the door

The cop said it's either on 59 headed for the border or within 30 miles or so from where I live. Once it's placed on a long term site it can stay there for years undetected.

Hope they're able to find it. Sorry for you, man. By way of recovery or prevention, I wonder: with traffic choppers in the air if we were to paint some kind of ID on the roof out of sight of the thieves if that would make ID easier too. In this day and age, you can never take too many precautions.

A lot of RV insurance policies have replacement cost over the first several years of said policy. Never buy anything that depreciates that you finance without GAP insurance. I hope they find your rig but it will be like a needle in the haystack deal Im sure.

I think I would put one on the refrigerator, and power it with two sources. Then if they shut off one, the other will power it up, or the on board battery will power it for a while. Anyone stealing it would think it is part of the refrigerator. Anyplace the refrigerator goes, so will the GPS receiver. Find the refrigerator, you should be able to find the trailer, especially if you start looking within a few hours.
Fred. They also have an internal batt that will send a signal for a few days. Its long enough to pull it up on the computer and for the police to intercept it. Now if it made it to mexico I am not sure if you can just go get it or what? I have no knowledge of laws across the border.
