Generac Quiet75D used in RV's

The owners of Generac Quiet 75D should be aware that at around 500 hrs the belts and idler should be replaced, and also the flex exhaust tube may crack and take out your generator.

I think Generac is aware of these problems and have done nothing to notify the consumer.

I don't think this is a coincedent , but I have 4 RV'ers who all have the same generator with the same problems around 500hrs.

I was assured it would be very little different from an Onan. Bad advice. I was assured I would see little difference between the 330 hp CAT (good motor, just weak) and the 350 hp Cummins. Bad advice.

Generac is not my favorite generator. I had one. Fussy is a good word for their operation.

My advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.
