My 2002 Monaco Knight needs brakes, rotors, calipers, pads, etc. Large truck place in Indy having trouble finding out what kind of brakes are on it so they can order replacement parts. They contacted Monaco, but no help there up to this point. Monaco is supposed to be still checking and call us back. That was 3-4 days ago. Anybody know anything about these brakes, or who to contact for part numbers for replacement brake parts.

Need to know which chassis you have under the coach, then it will be easy finding parts.

I was told once, that all the information you needed for brakes on Monaco DP's Roadmaster chassis were the tag info on the axles, never verified it. Don't know if this helps.

Are they disc or drum?? They should be Bosch if they're disc.. Do you have air brakes?? If you do, you don't have a Roadmaster chassis, you have a Freightliner with drum air brakes.. Mike M..

PS:Norm, the shop should be able to tell when they take them apart?? They may be stalling because they don't want to work on a motorhome.. You might want to take it somewhere else?? Just a thought..
