I think it was like the proverbial (mutual break up) since folks had almost stopped purchasing them before they quit. Sales figures were extremely poor even when selling at a loss.

They may quit or they may not. The biggest problem with Suzuki has and probably will always be with their lack of quality dealerships. Then add in their reluctance to change of designs. Makes for a poor combination.

But the Suzuki Samurai remains to be one of the most perfect toads for RVers that was ever made.

That is why when I bought the Gran Vitara I decided to keep the Samurai also.
