Update. I've used it camping twice now. It works really nice. I'll even use it on a weekend trip due to the convenience of being able to wash hands etc., without going in and out of the camper. Really nice on super hot days where you might want to reduce opening and closing doors.
The only mod I've done to it is added a wood dowel. Here's the reason. Once you're hooked up, the reinforced vinyl hose is just a little stiffer than you'd think. Once the top is on, the hose inside the tote wants to straighten out. This tends to want to push the lid up a little.
So, I ran a 1/2" dowel through the sides, as the last step. If you look at the tote/faucet from the front, as if to use it, the hoses will be to the front side on the inside of the tote. The dowel goes in from the side, to the back side of the hoses. In other words, it sandwiches the hoses between the front of the tote and the dowel. This keeps the lid down flat and secure. I'm sure there are other ways to do this. One could purchase two pex tubing curve supports, to accomplish the same thing. But, then again, that would add to the cost, which I was trying to avoid. The dowel should be about 1 1/2 inches longer than the tote width, side to side, where it will be inserted. Again, it all still fits inside the tote for storage.
Other than that, it really works well, and is so convenient. The hardest part of using this thing is rolling up the vinyl hose. LOL. Especially when they're cold. Stuffing them back in the tote is tricky, like fighting a kid into a car seat or a high chair. Definitely worth it though.
Enjoy,

Awesome idea, I just made one myself today. For the supply lines i used an older white water hose and put female hose ends on each end, male ends on the faucet and ball valves. Its a lot better than filling dish pans from the outside shower and also gives me a place to wash my hands when cooking outside. Thanks for the great idea, I've gotten a few from this forum.
Great! I was just out for 3 days this weekend. So much easier than running in and out. You don't realize how many times you wash your hands, or would if it was more convenient.
And I agree, got lots of great ideas from this forum.
So far we've gone to a couple different campgrounds in Loudonville: Smith's and Mohincan Wilderness. Had a couple trips to Deleware and the KOA in East Sparta to ride 4 wheelers. Need to get out and try some different places, but end up going to the one's I know and like.
I really want to do this since the thule smart rv counter/sink is no longer available. I am looking for something a little fancier though. I want to take a folding table add a sink, connect it to the water supply and just have it drain into a 5 gallon bucket. I have an outside hookup (not really a shower) for water but its not on the curb side but I was thinking about things I could do to still use it. I dont think I can see any of my connections like yours I have a completely sealed underbelly on my aerolite trailer. Does anyone know of anywhere on the web where someone has done a good detailed writeup with instructions and part lists for what I am talking about, putting a sink in a folding table?

Any special places you guys like to go?
We go up and stay at Cedar Point's Camper Village alot or the KOA up there. We've gone to Cutty's Sunset a few times and we're giving Clay's Park a try next weekend. Loudonville is on our list of places we want to try...
