wondered if there was anything built for a dog or cat screen saver plastic plexi glass see through style ..trying to dave the bottom of the door

Lots of folks have purchased a piece of plexi-glass from hardware store, cut it to kit and installed it with 'L' shaped plastic holders.kind used to install mirrors on walls.

We had screen door re-screened with pet proof screen material after dog toenails tore the OEM screen material. That was 4 yrs. ago.....still good.

We installed this grill. It might not stop a dedicated scratcher, but it easily did the trick to keep our dogs from pushing on the screen with their noses. And it still allows for air flow.
