We have a 03 Dodge Ram dually and 99 Bigfoot 9'6" 2500.We have the Happi-Jacks as well as the dually swing outs on them. The problem is still very tight getting pass the flares.Im not if anyone has added to these or extended them some how.If doin that what would the extra leverage on the jacks be.Surely someone else has had this issue.

I have about an inch on each side, take my time and they are ok. All you need to watch is the driver's side, the other should be good also.

You can add a piece of 3/8" thick flat bar in an appropriate width and length to use as a width spacer to set the jacks out further. Welding them on is the easiest way to attach them.

We have less than 1/2" on each side even with the swingout brackets. We too have considered extending them, but DH has learned to maneuver by taking his time and getting out serveral times to check progress.

Sometimes it's a matter of maneuvering a bit diagonally to get the positioning correct, but he can usually have it loaded within 15 mins or less. The key is to take your time and check your progress. It also helps if you have a spotter to assist.

If you look up my previous posts, I have asked the question as well. I just don't know how to post a link to it. Search key words like swingout bracket extensions and you'll find the suggestions.

Good luck.
