My search for a 10-12 year old fifth wheel suitable for hunting/fishing/smaller cg's has been enlightening.
I recently sold my too big for me/us 38.5' triple slide 5th wh.
Been looking for a 31' double slide nu-wa, carri-lite or arctic fox with the rear kitchen layout, with couch and convertible dinette for added sleeping.
Many emails to save traveling unnecessarily have been seemingly answered very honestly mentioning soft spots, delamination, or water stains. Plus tire dot date of Manu and being up front about last bearing services if any. As well as any other possible issues.
That said, seems like any and all units with a leak history end up on dealer lots. Perhaps the dry units get sold to friends or more easily by private seller I'd assume, like I just did.

I don't think the "clean" units sit very long at the dealers. They sell pretty quick. At least the dealers are being honest and up front with you and not wasting your time.

The NuWa factory takes tradeins. They refurbish each unit before selling them.
Go to www.nuwa.com or call the factory 800 835 0676.
At www.nuwa.com go to inventory look at the used units. They have a rear kitchen NuWa and a used Carriage. That you might like.
Been on the Nu-Wa site often looking at their inventory, thanks. Was hoping to find one closer to home though.
And,yes, this post was simply to counter all the negative things many post about dealers. Im surprised that none have pressured me to come to see the unit prior to disclosing stuff, a refreshing thing...
