Can anyone recommend a good quality wall mount hair dryer? I've been wanting to get one, but still have the old hand-held hair dryer in the RV.

I have health issues, and this last trip - the hair dryer was just too heavy for my hand and caused a lot of pain while trying to dry my hair. I know that sounds ridiculous, but..... it is what it is.

I've read reviews about them overheating and shutting off. I have short hair, so I'm not drying a mane. But it has to also be lightweight for me.

Appreciate any input on good/bad makes and models. Thanks

My wife uses a dryer and I thought about mounting one also. What kept me from doing it are the holes in the wall. Hair dryers fail and lose performance and once it does you’re stuck replacing it with mounting holes that do not line up. We have plenty of storage in the BR and just keep one in there. Coffee makers IMO fall into the same category…..keep em’ on the counter.

We installed this one, saves space in the drawer, handy, got the idea at a hotel we stayed in.

Amazon sells hairdryer stands and holders for hands free drying. Bed Bath and Beyond may also.

I use a travel size hair dryer... much, much lighter weight but still has as much blowing power as my regular hair dryer.

Would 3M command strips get it done with no holes??

If you don't mind, what brand and model do you have? I've read reviews and some say they don't dry well - others say some overheat and keep shutting off. TIA

I have some of that heavy duty velcro like stuff that our EZ Pass sticks on the windshield with. I thought that might work to eliminate the holes in the wall. And if the dryer wears out, I'd only have to replace it on the new dryer - leave the stuff on the wall intact.

raindove - Sorry for tardy reply; I just saw your post a few minutes ago. My travel size hair dryer is kept in the MH so I will check brand and get back to you tomorrow evening since it is so late right now.

I have a Conair that I have used for several years.
New one in the box in case this one ever fails.
