Saturday we headed east out of Coeur d Alene up to kalispell. I forgot how hard of a pull that is. I think I was getting about 8 MPG on that leg.

Can't imagine how much worse it will be when I buy something bigger.

CTD pulling 8000# trailer and you think it was a hard pull.

Might want to have that Cummins checked out. It shouldn't have broke a sweat.

Dial that Smarty Programmer back and get better mileage.

I'm running level 1 with mild settings. Trying to keep EGT's under 1,200. Boost was almost 35psi for a good part of 100 miles

I'm gonna reprogram it tomorrow

It's not that it couldn't pull it, just pulling hard, had a headwind also

I agree. You got to be kidding. I pull 18,000 lbs up 7% grades at >50mph with same engine and never feel for loss of power, plenty of pedal left. With only 8,000 lbs I doubt I would even drop out of OD.

Much better today. I hadn't run level 1 in years. It pulled like******compared to the level 3 I ran today. Level 3 is more what it should run like
