It has been almost 2 months now and we are enjoying our new TT immensely. I have discovered that on many occasions, instead of turning the light switch on or off, we accidentally push the Slide switch. Has anyone found a cover that I can install over the slide switch so that I can stop confusing it for the light switch in the dark ? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanx..

Rich...

I've seen many with a shallow cabinet over them. All you really need is the face frame and cabinet door.

downtheroad, i am looking for something like that, however, that one is way too big as the switch is only 2 inches wide by 3 inches high. Do you know where i could find one that small ?

Thanx..

Somebody posted some photos of a small tackle/organizer box they used. You can find all sizes and fairy shallow ones. Cut out an opening in the back, and then screwed to the wall. Already has the clip and hinge in place. You can but them at the dollar store, or for a few dollars in the sporting goods section.

Early on I did that a couple of times and I just started turning on the ceiling light next to my control panel before I touch any of the switches on the control panel. I've not accidentally done that now since I've started looking before touching.

We just put a piece of tape over it after we extend the slideouts and even if you accidentally touch it, the tape will let you know it is the wrong switch. Or you could paint the switch with a little nail polish so it looks different from the other one.

In our case the switch for the slideout is on the left and the switch for the light is on the right. Not too difficult to remember that.
