Hi there everyone, we've been full timing almost 4 years now. Every once in a while, we find a really cool tool that helps us enjoy our life style even more. This particular cooking tool we got at a pampered chef gathering.

It is perfect for cooking rice, corn or potatoes. It's lid, which slides on can also be used as a strainer. It is the coolest. So, if you get a chance to go to a Pampered chef event, be sure to pick one up.

Happy Camping Carol and Eric Anderson

Is that for stovetop cooking, or is it a microwave device? I can't tell for sure just looking at the picture, but it looks like it's made of plastic, which would be microwave only, obviously.

I'm interested, too -- but I looked on their website and didn't find it. What's it called???

We have one of those and it works quite well. Just put an inch or two of water in the bottom and most veggies are done in 6-8 minutes.

Very light - it's plastic but seems to be durable.

These micro-steam pans are great. Light weight perfect sizes. I have had mine and use them regularly for the past probably 12 years.
They can be found on the Pampered Chef web site catalog under "cookware tools"
Lrg. Micro-cooker 2qt $11.00
Sm. Micro-cooker $8.50
