I've been there several times. They remodeled the CG about two years ago. It's not very large. Maybe 20 sites with a camp host. You don't get a big grassy area. It's mostly a paved parking lot with hookups. It's federal so they honor Golden Age Passport and other federal discount card holders.
It's not right in town. It's right on the river about four miles west of Orofino. FHU's for some sites. Not all the sites can handle 40ft rigs. They added a boat launch with parking area for boat trailers to the west of the CG.
Just so you know, you can fill water (not sure about dumping) for free at the city water dept... on the SOUTH side of the highway just a little east of the Pinkhouse CG.
Pink House is a BLM campground, suggest you contact them for more info. We drove in there a couple years ago and it appeared to be a nice place; but we chose to drive farther east to make up for some lost time and stayed at a USFS CG east if Kooskia.
I loved it. I was surprised with FULL hookup. The web site said dry camping.
