If you've done all the things you have try another cable outlet Maybe yours is messed up at the post. Jensen Is not a top brand TV .. Expensive yes, I assume its a 12volt model ? If it doesn't get better take it back and another ( id get a Samsung or the like.)

My post's are my opinion The advice, comments etc are free and worth what you paid

Sounds like a tv problem. The reason the dvd's play fine is because it is most likely using a different input on the tv.

See my OP. Campground staff brought a television and tested my outlet and cable run. Thanks for trying.

I'm thinking like you. Since I've tried everything I can think off and since all the great minds of RV.Net have all drawn blanks its going back to the dealer.

Thanks to all of you for you help.

Contact Jensen Direct. From what I've read they have good customer service. Ask for a replacement if they can't tell you what's wrong.

Called Jensen. Told them what I previously did. They concluded that it is a bad cable tuner. They opend up a tech support case that I can give to the selling dealer, and Jensen will replace the TV.

Glad to hear they took care of it. Nice to find some companies still have customer service. Now you can quit scratching your head trying to figure out what's wrong!

Since the campground verified the connection and they got clear reception is certainly must be the TV - let us know when Jensen does replace it.

It is not unusual for campground cable to come in fuzzy - I have had crystal clear reception at some campgrounds and fuzzy reception at others, particularly those who are connecting to satellite for service.

So I'm having the same issue, but in my 2013 Coachmen Freelander 32BH. However it seems to affect all 4 TV's on our rig the same way, which makes me think it's something here in the house wiring. I am reading a lot about the antenna booster, but I have 0 idea of where that would be to check if it's on or off.

My antenna channels come in fine.
I set the signal source to CABLE and then do the scan and it finds channels (not all of them but many), and they're beyond fuzzy. I can make out blobs of color, but not much more.

We're at a park for the first time with cable and we'd like to give it a whirl. Anyone know where the thing would be located on my rig? I can't find it anywhere.

You will find a box about the size of a standard wall plate somewhere in your coach (in/under/around some cabinet). There will be a tiny push button or slide switch with a tiny LED light on the plate. Once you find it, turn the light off to get cable and turn it on when you want to use your over-the-air (Batwing) TV antenna.
