I have the Miniature light Bulbs that you push in and in the three months I live in my Camper in Florida I replace maybe 10 of them, seems so many go out < I am always buying them, wondering what the problem may be and how to correct it,

Do you have a model number for the bulb you are using. Maybe you are using the wrong size bulb for your fixtures.

Sometimes it's the oil from your fingers.......gets hot and burns bulb

Wipe the new ones with alcohol and then handle them with latex gloves, paper towels, clean cloth etc.

I'll venture they are G4's and it's the oil on you fingers as Old=B suggested. Stop waisting your money and go with these LEDs for $1.69 in warm white.
No heat and 1/10th the power.

The Number on them is 923 and I get them from CEC Industries ltd they come in a Box of 10, $ 6.64 for 2 box,s of 10 BUT $9.93 to ship, ever summer I stock up for the winter, as for the LED lights that is a different end on them so wouldn,t work but wish could go that route

X2 on chucking the bulbs and going with LEDs. They will take a lot less power, make less heat, and most likely give you more light to boot.

Kind of pricy, but plenty of light if pointing straight down for $15.

The LED's will pay for themselves by how much longer they last.
