2001 Winnebago Adventure 32V
2000 Workhorse chasis

Problem: Emergency brake failed to release. Used owners manual instructions to release brake. Local workhorse dealer has no wiring schematic as well as workhorse customer service. Has any other Winnebago owners faced this problem - and what was the fix. Please send any info to imansenn@gci.net.

Do a search for oldusedbear or autopark. He is the expert on the Autopark system, do not take it to a mechanic or dealer before talking to oldusedbear. It could be as simple as a $35 switch. He will require some information about your RV to give you the correct troubleshooting information.

Good advice. Oldusedbear's computer is down for a couple of days, but I'm sure he'll get back to you as soon as it's up. Meanwhile, remember to park on level ground and chock your wheels til it's fixed.

Had the same problems with P30 Park Brake.Called nearest GM Service,
I picked up and installed two new switches for $30.
Very simple any mechanic can do it for you.Takes a few minutes.
Make sure first the fluid level is ok in the reservoir, the box with switches and reservoir transmission fluid is located close to the transmission box "never" use brake fluid.Check the wiring to the switches.
