Is your door gasket heater on?
I owned my refrigerator about 5 - 8 years before finding the switch that turns on the heater for the freezer door gasket. Normally left off, only turned on if you find there is humidity freezing on the door surface near the freezer door gasket.
HOw level is the refrigerator?
How long have you had it running?
How hot outside?
Is it on electric or gas?
Do you have spiders that might have built a nest inside the gas burner area?
The refrigerator will work much higher capacity on gas than on electric.
Try running the refrigerator on gas for 24 hours , and see what happens.

Hi,
Generally, moving it up lowers the temp a few degrees, not really a big deal. Make sure the resister bulb in the clip is not touching the metal fin.
How long has it been running. These cool the freezer down near 0 before they start on the fridge compartment. Give it 18-24 hours to stabilize.

This procedure is for AUTO temp refers ONLY. That means refers that have NO adjustable tstat. Moving the thermister UP or DOWN will NOT affect the temp of a refer with an adjustable tstat. Doug

The INTERIOR temp of the refer will be 10 degrees Warmer than the fin temp. So, if you have a 32 degree fin temp (drops are ice) then the refer temp will be 40 to 42 degrees. The NORMAL fin temp on a 1200 without anything in the refer is 24 to 28 degrees---34 to 38 degree refer temp. Make SURE the rear fans are running. If not, that will account for poor cooling in the lower refer. Doug

NOT correct at all. It does NOT cool the freezer FIRST and then the lower refer. It cools BOTH at the same time. The freezer just gets colder faster due to the cooling unit lines are colder at the freezer. YES, you are correct in that it takes at least 24 hours to get the refer to correct operating temp. The Thermister BULB SHOULD touch the metal fin. It HAS too, because the metal clip that holds it secures it to the metal fin. Doug

We have Norcold N811. A different series, but we found the fridge door was not closing at the bottom corner. Latch holds it well at the top, but our door isn't stiff enough to compress the gasket all the the way down and therefore not compressed at least part of the way across the bottom. I can rack the door so the corner touches first, but it doesn't stay that way. We've now got a door closing gesture that includes latching the top and kneeing the bottom. Shouldn't have to, but it really helps.
Also, I got a couple little computer fans. I forget the MM size, but they're about 3", and rigged them to keep air moving upward over the outside coils.
With the new cooling unit, I think the Norcold uses two contact points to the inside of the fridge. One against a plate that absorbs heat from the freezer, the other from the fins in the fridge. Cooling unit has to fit flat against those points with "thermal mastic" to enhance heat transfer. Ask your tech about that phase of the assembly process.
