again...whew...what an emotional roller coaster of a life this little girl creates for us ! But, with all the help of meds, treatments. prayers and positive thoughts, she has turned the corner and has started to eat, boss her sisters around and demand every minute of our attention she can get...a true diva....
so the Wees went for a quick boat ride....it is so hot here...I'm not complaining though...I love the heat....

How cuuute! The two on the right look like they've had a "word" with one another and it hurt the middle one's ears! The other one looks like she's glad she didn't get in the middle!

Thanks Cat...its amazing what can happen in a week....we were just at the point on Wednesday for heading to the Uni of Guelph to have the PEG put in as she wasn't taking anything to speak of by mouth and then that night she took a a bit more puree and since then its been a steady improvement...you would hardly know she has been ill except for the fact she is a bit wobbly and still not eating her normal amount but she is getting enough to keep her weight on and hydrated...
this was her last Saturday...

she is my miracle baby girl !

Btw, you HAD to post that photo while on the lake, didn't you! Now Calvin's asking why we don't have a boat, or why we never go to places like the lake! ...

Would doing the PEG reduce the chances of reccurring pneumonia? You must be dying of anxiety all the time... I sure would be.

I think the PEG would reduce the chances but she would still be at risk....I am not sure what the percentages would be one versus the other....she would still need vertical feeds, procollar, meds etc....The radiologist commented on how thin she is in the abdominal region..Quote " Abdomen: The patient is thin with reduced intra-abdominal fat deposition, resulting in a talked appearance to the abdomen " I look at her little belly and just hate to see anything having to be done there...but I will have it done if she has another set back...and maybe before then as her Internist has recommended it be done while she is still strong enough....It is a hard decision for me to make....right now I am just concentrating on getting her health status built back up again....

Way to go Bella! Lord she is such a cutie pie. It must be a really tough decision on the PEG but we all know you will do the very best for Bella.
Keep up the good work and give her lots of hugs from us and Lucy & Bubba!
