We leave from Dallas and will probably spend the night in Baton Rouge, LA and then head over to Destin, FL for a few days and then head on to Orlando, FL for 4 or 5 days and then head back and thinking about stopping in Panama City Beach, FL for a few days and then maybe Mobile, AL for a few and then head home. Any suggestions on places you folks have stayed on that path and you enjoyed would be most appreciated. Thanks!

In October of 2010, we moved from Ventura CA to Charleston SC. 2700 miles in 5 days (By myself - wife and boys flew outta LAX). Other than that, just short trips.

Longest trip so far was only a measly 3000 miles round trip to the coast of Oregon. Other than that we play a lot in the mountains of our home state of Colorado.

What are some of your favorite camping spots in Colorado? We were thinking about one more trip before school starts.
