I will full time in hopefully a month or two. I will have no property except my RV. What do I do for an address, drivers licence, mail, tax info, vehicle registrations, ect..? I live in Texas now and thats a good state to be in as it has no state income tax as yet, I would not want to give that up. Is a P.O. Box enough? I glean from some posts that it is not. Would an acre of land in BFE do the trick? HELP!

TX Escapees Mail Forward
They give you a address that can be used as your home address for everything you listed.
You do have to join $$ to use the mail forward.

You will need something other than a PO box for your legal documents, bank accounts, etc. Escapees is one option but there are other mail forwarding services out there. Try an internet search like this. Your life will be much easier if you renew as many documents as possible (DL, registration, etc) before leaving the state.

If you rent a PO Box you will need a physical address. But that is only when you rent to the box. after that it is nothing to do with the rental at all. Just keep your rent paid up and you will be good to go. You can also go to places that have mail boxes., like the UPS stores or mail boxes plus. these are local places here in my town that have PO type mail boxes. they usually have units for rent when the Post office is filled up.

While there are other firms out there, for someone already in Texas Escapees makes the greatest sense since the legality, including voting, of the Livingston address as already been adjudicated, plus the fact that the Escapees company is active in making sure that its members rights are sustain through working with the legislators in the area as well as different state agencies.

If you have a relative you trust, you can just use thier address if they are willing to forward your mail occasionally.
We get very little mail anymore so it's not a big deal and it's cheaper.
