This is not my day. I posted earley about removing my old tv, well I removed it when and picked up a 26" VIZO LED LCD HDTV. I put it in and hooked it up screen says no signal, the old tv was working when I took it out. Now I had a digital box for the old tv, I have not un-hooked it but it is not on. I am getting a signal in the back but of course no picture, any suggustions
Thanks Roy

You may need to remove the digital converter or at least turn it on like you may have had to do previously. Also, on the new TV, check the "source" and be sure it is set to TV/Cable as I assumed you hooked up the same coax cable that threads on and was used on your old TV.

With the antenna hooked up and booster amp turned on, have you gone into the setup menu and had it search for channels? You shouldn't need the box anymore.

Signals aren't just there the first time... each different place you set up you should do a search for channels.

I cannot get to the channel set up, I can go up and down with the arrows but it will skip channel set. They are no change with the coax hooked or un-hooked shows on screen no signal. Roy

Search for channels and make sure you are on the right INPUT.
The new LCD tvs can have 5 or so inputs, pc, hdmi, component, composite, tv/ant.. If you SE on the wrong input, you can see that message. Should not need the digital box, as the new LCD tv is digital ready.

I would hit the input buttons a few times to scroll through all of the options to make sure you are on the right one, then do a channel search. Should be that easy.

Enjoy the sweet new TV.

Do away with the old convertor box. You do not need it with the new tv. If it does not have a pass through, it will block your signal. Hook directly to the new tv from your selector box. Make sure the antenna amphlier is on. Then do a channel scan. Should be good to go.

Make sure you have the TV INPUT set to Antenna or CABLE. NOT HDMI.
