Iv never dumped back or gray, or even used them. Total newbie Here is what I have..

My hose looks like its only half of what I need. I have a camping-world merchandise certificate burning a hole in my wallet.. What should I buy?

At minimum, the end of your hose should have a collar with cleats on it which serves two-folds: 1) can attach elbow that you will need at most parks at the park's sewer tap 2) can attach 2nd hose to your first to extend your reach.

Something like this.

2008 Jayco Eagle Superlite 28.5RLS
2002 Ford 4x4 SuperCab 7.3 (Jr International) Diesel

Sad to say, time to sell to a good home.

It appears you have all you need. The end of the hose to the left as pictured goes on the dump fitting. It goes on then turns to the right to hold. The right end (as pictured) goes in the hole at the dump station. You then open the Black first(usually the larger valve)then when black is done draining, open the gray. That way the gray rinses the hose.

You may be able to get by with what you have but it looks as if your hose is to short and there is no sewer fitting on one end.

Here is what you need. It has 20' of hose and a sewer connector. You may also need a sewer doughnut at some campgrounds to seal the connection.

Enjoy camping.

You've got all you need. If you want something a little bit fancier, you can purchase this little gem.

good advice above. Would like to add that a clear connection that goes between your tank's gate and the hose will really come in handy to let you know what is coming out and when it is finished.

Clear Connector

Another item that is also handy (that is if your tank doesn't already have one) is this: Quickie Flush

good luck

Just for your consideration and clarification: No RV has a septic system so don't confuse that with the holding tanks on the RV. They are entirely different and require different care and treatment.

Two hoses are frequently needed at full hookup sites. Also, an elbow will be needed. Most newer sites have threaded pipes for the dump, eliminating the need for a donut.

Flush King or a quikie flush is real nice to have.

I switched out to this system. Much easier to store.
